The Taiwan Secom Group converted its MIS division to an independent company—GC&C in August 1994. Under the help of Taiwan Secom Group, GC&C has been a well-founded corporation since its establishment. GC&C’s commitment to computerize Taiwan Secom Group (since 1994 to 1997) was the first stage of its development. GC&C has developed an Airway Accounting System for British Airways and implemented an island-wide infrastructure for Taiwan Secom and GCNet. Its second stage focused on developing diverse businesses (1998-2000). It provided business application software products and obtained a telecommunication operation license. It invested in Internet Security Solutions Taiwan’s Internet Security technology, introduced IMB Websphere software to research and develop B2B solutions. The third stage is to fulfill its vision (since 2001). Now it uses Entrust Internet Identity products to enter the information security market and built a strategic alliance with TATA Consultancy Services (TCS). The product won the prize for accounting application software, awarded by Corporation Organization Research and Development Association, which is assigned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It invested in the major player of Asia monitoring technology manufacturer, MultiVision, to expand the medium and big monitoring system market in the Asia Pacific area.

Services provided by MultiVision include physical security, information security, comprehensive information services, corporate VoIP, communication & Network services, information and software services.
