Internet Solution Lab (ISLNet) was found in Chunghe, Taipei county in July 2002. With 28800 square feet, power backup system, temperature and humidity control air-conditioning plant, it is capable of providing 10 thousand servers for corporate users. Its has hardware meeting international requirements and CNS500 alloy steel floors. Air-cooling water freezer keeps the plant temperature within 20℃±2℃. In regards to security, it uses a magnetic card recognition system and receipt surveillance closed circuit television (CCTV) system to focus on partial recording. UPS was implemented based on N+1 with the capability to supply power for 15 minutes. The N+1 power generator units operate 24 hours. Rack-mounted power supply provides the Dual Power System. The fire extinguishing system adopts Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) and FE-13 gas extinguishing system. In addition, it has additional emergency response procedures for natural disasters such as earthquakes and fires. Its professional Web management team provides 24 hour surveillance management services and comprehensive web technology consulting. Various charges allow user selections based on their needs. It provides individual Web planning solutions to supply various needs of different corporations. ISLNet establishes a digital channel system to build up a professional GIDC plant, which is to finish building an integrated digital merchant trading platform and channel.

Regarding ISP, it has more than 500 leased-line users, provides co-locations for more than 400 corporations and reaches 3000 virtual host users with total traffic of 530M. There are three major routers—north, middle and south. Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung are interconnected by four STM1s, building an island-wide backbone Internet bandwidth. Through eight STM1s and three high speed Ethernets, the STM1s are connected to domestic and overseas ISPs.

In 2003, ISLNet focuses its goal on several issues. The first is to provide small and medium sized businesses complete corporation web services, which are separated into three major parts: network datagrams, customized projects and application packages for business. Second, to provide “I-office: digital office management system” package module. Other than that, it also modifies projects based on corporation requirements and network security features—“fingerprint recognition.” So far, it has more than 50 clients. Third, it provides POS system for franchise network inventory management system. Fourth, it delivers various information integration projects for not only governmental organizations but also for many well-known businesses, such as Third Wave, AboCom and Tung-I Information Service Co. Ltd.
