KB Telecom, sponsored by KG Group, is a telecommunication company which provides Metro Area Network (MAN).

KB Telecom owns a very high-density fiber infrastructure in the main metropolitan areas of Taiwan. It uses this fiber infrastructure and adopts Ethernet transmission technology to build up an Ethernet/fiber to the building (EFTTB) metropolitan network service. The service provides 300K to more than 10G high bandwidth, compared with traditional Synchronous Optical Network (SDH/SONET) implementation. KB Telecom has digital broadband, extra long distance, high liability, high flexibility, high integration, high value, high security, better prices, and fast implementation. Clients don’t have to spend a lot of money on routers and other equipment. Its objective is to provide fast and inexpensive metropolitan network services.

KB Telecom provides services including fixed-line (KBT Metro), Internet access bandwidth (KBT Net), Internet information center (KBT Center), VoIP, and virtual private networks (VPN).
